The official website for the Tongari Boushi no Atelier (Witch Hat Atelier) television anime announced on Tuesday that a second season is in production. Produced by BUG FILMS, the first season adapting Kamome Shirahama's fantasy manga premiered with the first two episodes on Tokyo MX and BS11 on April 6. Acclaimed manga author Leiji Matsumoto died on February 13 at 11:00 a.m. due to acute heart failure at a hospital in Tokyo. He was 85 years old.
