'The Fable' Gets Second Season

Production company VAP announced a second season for the The Fable television anime on Thursday. The new season will adapt the Yamaoka-hen (Yamaoka Arc). The official website also revealed the returning cast and staff, along with a teaser visual (pictured). Voice actors Kazuyuki Okitsu, Miyuki Sawashiro, Kana Hanazawa, Akio Ootsuka, and Tetsuo Komura are reprising their roles from the first season. Acclaimed manga author Leiji Matsumoto died on February 13 at 11:00 a.m. due to acute heart failure at a hospital in Tokyo. He was 85 years old.
