Manga 'Girl Crush' Gets TV Anime

Broadcasting company TBS announced a television anime adaptation of Midori Tayama's Girl Crush manga on Thursday. The announcement also revealed a commemorative visual (pictured) drawn by Tayama. TBS Television and Enishiya are credited for planning and production. Tayama began serializing the K-Pop idol manga on the Line Manga website in November 2020. Manga Author Leiji Matsumoto Dies at 85

Acclaimed manga author Leiji Matsumoto died on February 13 at 11:00 a.m. due to acute heart failure at a hospital in Tokyo. He was 85 years old. Born Akira Matsumoto in Kurume, Fukuoka in January 1938, he began his career under his real name in 1954 with Mitsubachi no Bouken (Honeybee's Adventure) in Manga Shounen magazine. A second anime season for SIU's Tower of God manhwa was announced at the Crunchyroll Expo convention on Saturday. The event also revealed a promotional video and key visual (pictured).
