Studio Kai Produces 'Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi' TV Anime Adaptation in 2026

Production company King Records opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of nonco's Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi (Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy) manga on Tuesday, revealing a teaser visual (pictured). Studio Kai—the animation studio behind Super Cub, Fuuto Tantei (Fuuto PI), and Uma Musume: Pretty Derby Season 2 & 3—is producing the anime series for a 2026 premiere. Manga Author Leiji Matsumoto Dies at 85

Acclaimed manga author Leiji Matsumoto died on February 13 at 11:00 a.m. due to acute heart failure at a hospital in Tokyo. He was 85 years old.
