Publishing company Kadokawa announced an anime adaptation of Ryuuto's Mezametara Saikyou Soubi to Uchuusenmochi Datta node, Ikkodate Mezashite Youhei toshite Jiyuu ni Ikitai (Reborn as a Space Mercenary: I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship!) light novel on Thursday. Ryuuto began penning the isekai sci-fi novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in February 2019.
