Emi Shinohara, the voice actress known for her portrayal of Makoto Kino (Sailor Jupiter) in the beloved anime Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (Sailor Moon), died on Sunday. She was 61. Shinohara had been undergoing medical treatment for an unspecified illness, but despite efforts, the treatment was not successful. The funeral will be held by her close relatives.
