Voice Actress Eiko Masuyama Dies at 89

Talent agency Aoni Production announced on that voice actress Eiko Masuyama, best known as Fujiko Mine in the Lupin III anime series, died on May 20 from pneumonia. She was 89. The funeral was held privately by her close relatives. Born in Tokyo in April 1936, Masuyama debuted as a voice actress in the original Tetsuwan Atom (Astro Boy) television anime series in 1963. She began starring as Fujiko Mine in Lupin III in 1969 and continued till 2010 in the Lupin III: The Last Job television special...
